Weekend Safari

Third day in the new years we decided to check out one of the biggest safaris in Sri Lanka. We hoped on a jeep and encountered some: peacocks, buffalos, elephants, parrots, eagles and crocodiles. There's only one way to describe a safari, by looking at pictures though!

TRAVEL TIP: We opted for Udawalawe national park as it's not as busy as Yalla national park. It's up to you what you prefer doing. The advantage being that if you stay in Yalla you are able to sleep inside the park amongst the wild creatures.
