THINGS TO DO

Playa Papagayo

Unwind on the most beautiful beach on the island

This is one of the most picturesque beaches from all the islands. You’ll feel like you’re in Greece. Located in a small cove, expect clear blue waters and a white sand beach. The spot is very tranquille and you can snorkel there too.

Surf in Famara

Get wavy in this surfer's hotspot

This is probably one of the most reputed surfspot in the whale canaries. There’s plenty of surf schools where you can learn how to surf the waves or simply perfect your practice. The main beach is spacious & not overly crowded which makes it a great surfing spot for beginners. For more advanced surfers, the spot La Santa is meant to be pretty good too. Overall the vibes here are very chilled except veggie cafes, colourful bars and skateboarders strolling around town.

I took lessons with Lanzasurf

Visit TeGUISE

Stroll around one the most picturesque town in Lanzarote

Visit Teguise

Teguise used to be the old capital of Lanzarote. It's a beautiful historical town with white coloured houses and charming cafes and restaurants. On some weekends, they also have a market with live music. It’s the perfect place for a Sunday stroll.

JAMEUS DEL AGUA

Discover an enchanted cave

This is a concert hall built in a volcano tunnel & caver. You’ll also find a salt lake and restaurant on-site. This unique spot is better seen than described. I did find the entry price was a bit expensive but it’s still worth checking out I’d say.

JARDIN_CACTUS_IMG_3223.jpg

Jardin del Cactus

Delve into a magical garden filled with cactuses.

In all honesty, this attraction didn’t meet my expectations although it was worth stopping by, especially if you eat at the restaurant there, all the recipes are made with cactus.

MIRADOR DEL RIO

Uncover a viewpoint that will take your breath away

There's an entrance fee if you'd like to watch it from their designated building, it's about 4.5euros per person. In my opinion, there's no need to spend the cash, we sat by the cliff and enjoy the spectacular views there. This also means you can check it out for sunset when the viewpoint building is closed.

LA GRACIOSA_2.jpg

Day TRIP TO LA GRACIOSA

Go island hopping & chill on the most beautiful beaches in the Canaries

Don’t miss a day trip to this sumptuous island. La Graciosa is only fifteen minutes and 15euros (one way) away from Lanzarote and has some of the most beautiful beaches, I’ve seen, in the canary island. Each one of them has clear blue waters and pristine sand. Enjoy a day filled with snorkeling and sunbathing.

EAT & DRINK

WINE TASTING

Lanzarote is famous for its ‘wine’ not get a little taster?

We did our tasting at the Bodega Rubicon but there’s plenty more around such as Bodega La Geria or La Querencia.

Restaurant Pizzeria Casa Morelino

Treat yourself to delicious traditional Italian food

A friend recommended this place and it didn’t disappoint. This was one of the tastiest Italian I ever had and the setting is very quirky and kitsh too.
